What happens when Minecraft gets Minecraft’s own TV channel?
The Minecraft TV channel, which will launch on the platform in September, is set to become one of the most popular gaming channels in the world.
The channel will launch in Japan and in several other countries in the coming weeks.
According to The Verge, the channel will also feature a weekly “Minecraft Spotlight,” a series of clips featuring the game.
It’s expected to launch in a number of other countries.
The Minecraft TV platform will allow players to purchase virtual goods in-game for real money.
Players will also be able to stream content from their smartphones, tablet and PC.
The channel will not be able access content from a subscription service like Netflix.
A Minecraft-themed channel will likely have some overlap with Twitch, a video game streaming service that allows users to create video games.
Twitch’s Twitch TV channel is also launching in September.
